First Congregational Church of Austin will hold a reception for the installation of new pastor Shari Mason this Sunday.

Mason has been with the church since mid-2012, and the installation is a time for the congregation, community and pastor to celebrate the covenant between the church and new pastor.

Mason has been granted Dual Standing in the Minnesota Conference United Church of Christ.

The community, regardless of denomination or faith, is invited to to the celebration, which will be 2 p.m. April 7 at the church, 1910 Third Ave. NW.
