Blooming Prairie baseball team grabs first win of the season

MEDFORD — The Blooming Prairie baseball team picked up its first win of the season when it beat Medford (2-2 overall) 10-8 on the road Tuesday.

Weston Fiebiger struck out seven and allowed four earned runs for BP (1-2-1 overall) and John Rumpza hit a pair of doubles to go along with his four RBIs in the win.

BP pitching: Weston Fiebiger (W), 7 IP, 11 H, 5 BB, 8 R, 4 ER, 7 K

BP hitting: Fiebiger, 1-for-3; Rumpza, 3-for-4, 2 doubles, 4 RBIs; Jimmy Mans, 2 RBIs; Sam Swenson, RBI
