MABEL — The Lyle-Pacelli baseball team swept a doubleheader from Mabel-Canton (0-5 overall) by scores of 6-1 and 13-5 in Mabel Monday.

Kevin Juenger allowed just four hits and struck out seven in the opening win for LP (2-1 overall, 2-0 SEC).

“We played good defense and threw strikes, still some mental lapses on the bases,” LP head coach Brock Meyer said. “We also left a lot of men on base but that was our second time out and that will get better. Overall I was pleased with how we competed and its nice to get two conference wins on the road.”
