Update: Austin under another wind chill advisory

The National Weather Service has issued another wind chill advisory for Austin for Tuesday starting at 9 p.m., as the wind chill could bottom out at 20 to 25 below zero. The NWS says the extreme cold could persist into 9 a.m. Wednesday.

A winter storm is also expected to move in Thursday night and last until Friday. The storm could bring 6 inches of snow, with the bulk of the accumulation coming Thursday night.

The NWS says the Friday morning commute will be impacted by snow covered roads.
