Blooming Prairie girls knock off Alden-Conger

BLOOMING PRAIRIE — The Blooming Prairie girls basketball team beat No. 5 Alden-Conger (19-7 overall) 75-50 in the first round of the Section 1A West Division Tournament.

Taylor Hagen had 19 points and 12 rebounds for No. 4 seeded BP (17-8 overall) and Madison Worke had 21 points, six rebounds and four steals.

BP will play No. 1 Faribault Bethlehem Academy Tuesday at Mayo Civic Auditorium at 6 p.m. BP and FBA split their regular season series.
