Eggs, milk, syrup, orange juice, sausage, bread and giant cases of pancake mix await hungry hoards of people for the 54th annual Lions Pancake Day.

The pancake feed will be held at First United Methodist Church from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday. Tickets are $5 in advance from any Lions member, $6 at the door and free for those 6 and younger. Once again, free diabetic testing will be available from 7 to 11 a.m. There will also be a bake sale held by the Lyle Lionesses and door prizes.

The pancake feed is the Austin Noon Lions Club’s major fundraiser each year. Last year, the event sold nearly 1,400 tickets, much of which goes toward helping others see and hear.
