BP girls fall to No. 2 Panthers

BLOOMING PRAIRIE — The Blooming Prairie girls basketball team lost to No. 2 ranked New Richland-HEG (15-1 overall, 7-0 Gopher) 79-52 in BP Friday.

Taylor Hagen led the Awesome Blossoms (10-5 overall, 6-1 Gopher) with 14 points and eight rebounds.

“They are relentless. Physically and mentally exhausting,” BP head coach John Worke said. “It was a great atmosphere. Even though we lost, I bet the kids will remember this night.”
