WELLS — The Awesome Blossoms couldn’t hold to a late lead as United South Central’s Trey Allis hit a buzzer beating three to beat them 59-58 on the road Friday.

“We have to go on and learn a lesson from this game and not keep a team in the game due to our mental mistakes,” BP head coach John Bruns said.

John Rumpza led BP (4-5 overall, 1-1 Gopher) with 21 points and 12 rebounds and Steve Voigt had 15 points for USC (5-5 overall, 3-0 Gopher).
