Milk truck spills thousands of gallons

A milk truck overturned on an icy road near Elkton Tuesday morning and spilled several thousand gallons of milk into a creek.

While the Mower County Sheriff’s report is not yet complete, Sheriff Terese Amazi and Chief Deputy Mark May said the accident was near Interstate 90 and County Road 13, near St. John’s Church just before 7 a.m. The driver of the milk truck is OK.
