Truckenmiller leads LP girls past Superlarks

Lyle-Pacelli sophomore Madison Truckenmiller poured in a career-high 18 points as the Athletics beat Grand Meadow 64-44 in a girls basketball game in Pacelli Tuesday.

Truckenmiller scored the first six points for LP (4-1 overall, 3-1 SEC), but eventually foul trouble set in for the Athletics and Maggie Lewison, who scored 12, and a few other Athletics had to step up.

“Madison really got us going, but we got good minutes off the bench from some of younger kids too,” LP head coach Brad Walter said.

GM (2-2 overall, 2-1 SEC) was led by Autumn Thorsen, who scored 12 points.

Courtney Walter ahd six points and six steals for LP and Ann Rysavy added 10 points and five assists.
