The Austin girls tennis team finished up its season in at the Section 1A individual tournament Rochester Thursday.

ROCHESTER – Austin’s doubles team of Alica Sforza and Christine Barinka won their first match 6-3, 6-2 against a team from Red Wing, but lost their second match 6-1, 6-1 to a team from Rochester Century.

In singles play, Austin senior Karyn Potach lost her first match 6-1, 2-6, 7-6 (6-1) and Nicole Hose lost her first match 6-0, 6-0.

In doubles play, Emily Johannsen and Megan Fleiner lost their first match 6-1, 6-2.
