Bruins win fifth straight game

The Austin Bruins rattled off their fifth straight win when they beat Bismarck (4-6 overall) 4-2 in Riverside Arena Saturday.

The Bruins (7-2 overall) killed 10 of Bismarck’s 11 powerplays in the win as Nicholas Lehr made 37 saves.

Austin jumped out to a 3-1 lead when CJ Smith and Josh Bretner scored goals in the second period.
