BLOOMING PRAIRIE — The Awesome Blossoms had just 229 yards of total offense, but they beat Saint Clair (3-2 overall) 40-13 in BP Friday.

Michael Thomas scored on a 90-yard kickoff return to make it 26-7 BP on the first play of the second half and Thomas ran a fumble back 90 yards for a score in the fourth quarter.

BP (5-1 overall) opened with a 14-0 lead in the first quarter as Cole Sunde ran for a six-yard score and John Rumpza hit Weston Fiebiger for a 51-yard TD pass.
