The Community Against Bullying is preparing to help more speakers come to Austin.

CAB volunteers raised just under $3,000 on June 15 with its Take It To The Streets Fundraiser, which head organizer Danielle Borgerson-Nesvold said will go in part to bringing speakers to the community.

“We just want to keep reaching out to the community,” Borgerson-Nesvold said.

Among the speakers scheduled include a bullying expert visit to Neveln Elementary School, who will work with teachers and students on dealing with bullying instances.

CAB volunteers also hope to help bring Peter Yarrow, of Peter, Paul and Mary, to the area next year for an anti-bullying concert.
