The congregation of Iglesia Pentecostal Unida in Austin welcomed the Rev. Eliazar M. Talamantes as its new pastor.

Talamantes is an ordained minister with the United Pentecostal Church International and has been a pastor with the organization for 26 years. Talamantes continues the Spanish work his late brother, Job Talamantes, began in Albert Lea, who passed away on July 21, 2011.

Talamantes and his wife, Mary, invite all to the Spanish-speaking worship with the congregation at 1000 First Ave. NW in Austin on Sunday afternoon. The worship services begin at 10 a.m. and Sunday school starts at 10:30. English interpretation can be made available.
