Aching for the halcyon days of radio? The “Radio Holly Days” show at the Paramount should cure what ails you.

Starring all the old-time character favorites, from Bing Crosby to the Andrews Sisters and Glenn Miller, “Radio Holly Days” is a live-action radio program set to bring out the nostalgia.

“This show’s all about radio and songs you would here from the ‘40s,” said Paramount operations manager Scott Anderson. “It’s definitely a Christmas show.”

The show is put on by Five by Design, a nationally acclaimed vocal group around for more than 20 years that puts on musical reviews, the most famous of which is “Radio Days.”

The “Radio Holly Days” show is the group’s signature show, as it pays tribute to the so-called Golden Age of Radio and the patriotic songs of the World War II era. Tunes like “Any Bonds Today” and “Remember Pearl Harbor” will be on display, along with perennial Christmas favorites like “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” and “Here Comes Santa Claus.”

“People who heard this back then, they will just eat it up,” Anderson said. “They’re going to love it.”

The “Radio Holly Days,” will take place at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16. Tickets are $15 in advance, $17 at the door, $5 for students and can be purchased at the Paramount Box Office.
