ST. PAUL, Minn. — Minnesota law agencies are looking for a Level Three sex offender who left the halfway house he was staying at and never returned.

According to the Minnesota Department of Corrections, 42-year-old Eugene Glaraton left the St. Paul halfway house and cut off his GPS-monitoring ankle bracelet Sunday after spending five days there. Before that, he was at the Minnesota Correctional Facility in Lino Lakes.

Glaraton was last seen with a shaved head and gray mustache and goatee. He has blue eyes, is five feet, 11 inches tall and weighs about 220 pounds. His prior convictions include first-degree criminal sexual conduct.
