Scholarship application for Zonta scholarship available

Applications for the 2019 Young Women in Public Affairs Scholarship are now available from the Zonta Club of Austin.

All local women between the ages of 16 and 19 are welcome to apply.

The Young Women in Public Affairs Scholarship is given out to a young woman aged 16-19 on April 1, who has demonstrated:

  • active commitment to volunteerism
  • experience in local government, student government, or workplace leadership (paid or unpaid)
  • volunteer leadership achievements
  • completed and submitted application by Feb. 16, 2019

Winners will be presented at the “Zonta Club of Austin’s eighth annual Women of Achievement Dinner, March 25, 2019 at The Holiday Inn and Convention Center.
