United Way names interim executive director; Molly Lanke named interim executive director starting May 6

The United Way of Mower County continues working on the transition of executive director responsibilities. Current Executive Director Diane Baker will be leaving effective May 3 to lead the Austin Community Recreation Center as CEO of the YMCA.

The United Way of Mower County Board of Directors has announced Molly Lanke as interim executive director effective May 6. Molly has served as marketing and resource development coordinator for the United Way since 2017. The Board and other UWMC staff will support Molly during this transition timeframe.

The executive director position will be posted for public consideration on July 1, with interviews to follow. The board will choose the best candidate to continue moving Mower County forward with enhanced goals for the future of the agencies and communities it serves.
