St. John’s to have guest preacher next weekend

St. John’s Luthern Church in Austin will have a guest preacher next weekend.

Dr. Fungchatou Lo, the Executive Director of Lutheran Intercity Network Coalition Twin Cities (LINC), will be the guest preacher at the 9 a.m. service at St. John’s, 1200 13th Ave. NW in Austin, on Sunday, Aug. 17. Lo visited St. John’s previously when he served as a missionary to Cambodia. He is now serving in a new capacity with LINC TC in Minneapolis. He will talk about the work of LINC Twin Cities.

LINC TC has a mission to bring people together for missional development. The organization’s goal is “to equip Christians to live in relationship and partnership with the communities encompassing their holistic development for the sake of Kingdom growth.” Dr. Lo will share how the organization is focusing on multi-ethnic ministries and All Nations Youth Ministry.

After the 9 a.m. service, Lo will give a presentation during the Bible class time at 10:15 a.m.
