Got an app for that: Appetizers will be focus of cooking show

This week we are having another fun cooking show for you.

On Monday, my cousin, Jen Harris, will be here to make some yummy appetizers for you. Jen is a school teacher in Saint James Minnesota and loves to teach and find new ways of doing things. She has more than 10,000 posts on the popular website Pinterest.

Jen will be walking you through making three different appetizers and handing out samples and recipes for everyone to eat, take home and enjoy.

The cost of this class is $2 for members of the Senior Center and $3 for non-members. To sign up, please stop by or call the front desk at the Senior Center at 507-433-2370, ext. 0.

Don’t forget our coffee shop where every day you can have homemade soup for $1 and a sandwich for 50 cents.

On Tuesday, Jack, from the Cedars of Austin will be here serving lunch. Space is limited so make sure you reserve your space ahead of time. You are always welcome at the center.
