Albert Lea man dead after rollover

TWIN LAKES — An Albert Lea man died in a rollover about a fourth of a mile east of Twin Lakes around 1:15 a.m. Friday.

Adam Richard Christenson, 30, of Albert Lea was reportedly driving east on Freeborn County Road 85 when he lost control of his 1997 Chevrolet pickup.

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s office reported that the truck entered the south ditch before crossing the road again, then entered the north ditch and rolled one time. The truck was found on its wheels after rolling.

Christenson was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the pickup. He was the only person in the truck and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Sheriff’s office.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.

An ambulance crew from Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea responded.
