Last chance: MNsure open enrollment ends this Sunday; Rochester-area enrollees receiving tax credits averaging more than $8,300 per year

Rochester-area residents have until midnight, on Sunday, Jan. 13, to secure health insurance coverage through MNsure for 2019.

Those who enroll by the deadline will have coverage that begins Feb. 1.

“MNsure is the only place to get financial help to save money off your monthly premium,” said MNsure CEO Nate Clark. “Rochester-area enrollees receiving tax credits averaging more than $8,300 per year.”

Minnesotans can see if they qualify for financial help, while also comparing medical plans side by side, by using MNsure’s plan comparison tool.

MNsure has extended Contact Center hours in the days leading up to the final deadline:

  • Friday, Jan. 11: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Saturday, Jan. 12: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Sunday, Jan. 13: 8 a.m. to midnight

The online MNsure marketplace will be open 24 hours a day Jan. 10-13.
