A 62-year-old LeRoy man was sentenced to nearly 25 years in prison last week in Mower County Court.

Marvin Henry Lego was convicted of first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a victim younger than 13 and sentenced on Friday. Two additional first-degree criminal sexual conduct charges were dismissed.

According to the court complaint, Lego learned that the victim may have been molested by another man. Lego allegedly convinced the victim to perform the same sexual acts on him in July 2011 to see if the victim was telling the truth. He admitted to detectives that was his reasoning, as well.

Lego was ordered Friday to serve 306 months in prison but has been given credit for 235 days already served.
