The Cardinals put the game away with 1:52 left in the fourth quarter when Jace Bunne ran 30-yard for a touchdown.

LP (1-2 overall, 1-2 SEC) was led by Daniel Bollingberg, who ran for 251 yards and six TDs.

Travis Raddatz ran for 207 yards and two scores for LO.

“We gave up way too many plays on defense,” LP head coach Reid Olson said. “We didn’t do a good job at the point of attack. I was afraid of it becoming a shootout and that’s what it was.”

LP lost three fumbles on the night to stall their offense as well.

“We’re a young team and this is part of growing pains” Olson said. “I’m proud of the kids and how they played.”
