ST. PAUL – Blooming Prairie junior Jarrod Grunklee opened the Class ‘A’ state wrestling tournament with a 10-0 win over Cooper Blau of Albany at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn. Friday.
Grunklee, who is 30-10 at 285, will take on Dominick Platow of Paynesville in the quarterfinals later today.
Platlow is 37-5 and ranked No. 6 in Class ‘A.’
