Free Fishing Contest results

This year’s Freedom Fest Free Fishing Contest on July 1 had 105 children participate and over 50 fish caught. The Austin Area Chamber of Commerce would like to thank Runnings and Cabela’s for prizes. Congratulations to the following winners:

Ages 6 and under: Jaithan Claspell – Two pound, seven ounce sucker

Ages 7-9: Kasen Owens – One pound, one ounce sucker

Ages 10-12: Mackenzie Sikora – One pound, 14 ounce carp

Ages 13-15: Riley Haugen – 2.2 ounce sunfish
