Across the interstate

Our next summer trip will take us to the Marion Ross Theater in Albert Lea.

On Thursday, we will  be attending the opening night performance of “South Pacific.”

A great favorite, this play has a wonderful story line and music. We will depart at 4:30 p.m. and have a “Mystery Dinner” planned prior to the show. Return time will be about 10:30 p.m. We will depart from the south end of Walmart parking lot.

On July 29, our plans are set for the new musical, “Mary Poppins” at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater located in Chanhassen, Minnesota. Departure time will be 9 a.m. This trip is filled so there is only a waiting list.

We plan to return about 6 p.m. barring any road construction.

Our annual Mystery Trip will be Aug. 20. Another new destination has been planned with departure time at 7:30 a.m. There is only a waiting list currently. This one day trip continues to be popular with our travelers.

On Sept. 3, we make our way to Minnesota State Fair’s Senior Day. This is an annual trip to one of the best fairs in the country. Signs-ups have begun.

The July newsletter is now available and will include much more information about our plans.

They may be picked up at the south entrance of the Mower County Senior Center at 400 Third Ave. NE.
