meeting Wednesday, April 20, in place of the recently resigned Dan Regner. Merten met the qualifications, which were to live within the county and within the watershed district and have a general interest in the watershed. The County Board was satisfied with Merten’s qualifications, as he is also a farmer, understands many of the watershed’s flooding and quality problems and has attended many CRWD meetings in the past months.
