The Mower County Board will discuss retiree health insurance at its meeting Tuesday.

The board is expected to discuss the request of a retiree to modify the retiree health insurance policy. The board will also accept the notice of retirement of a shift sergeant and likely authorize human resources to fill the position.

A special session will begin at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in the lower level of the Mower County Government Center. The meeting will begin with a department report by Amy Lammey, who will present an update on emergency management and safety program initiatives. Then the Human Services Board meets at 9 a.m.
