St. Olaf holding Continuing Education Day
St. Olaf Lutheran Church’s annual Continuing Education Day is a day of fun and learning and it will take place on Thursday, April 26, at St. Olaf.
Registration and coffee starts at 9 a.m. followed by a great slate of presentations. The classes start at 9:30 a.m. followed by lunch at noon. Individuals can choose two classes from three one-hour classes being offered. This year’s classes are the following:
•“Using Geneology to Write Your Life Story” led by Martha Berryman and Harriet Ulland.
•“Today’s Research, Tomorrow’s Cure” led by Brenna Gerhart – Hormel Institute.
•“Welcome to the Welcome Center” led by Solomon Paul – Executive Director.
Lunch will be served at noon followed at 12:30 p.m. by a keynote presentation by Bonnie Rietz on “Austin’s Global Village.” The Continuing Education Day will conclude at 1:15 p.m.
Tickets for the event are only $5 for the classes, the lunch and the keynote presentation. Tickets are available at the St. Olaf Church Office or by calling the Church Office at 433-8857.
