Thanks for supporting Easter event

By Cynthia Goskeson
Christian Education Director Westminster Presbyterian Church of Austin

On behalf of Westminster Presbyterian Church of Austin, I would like to thank Hy-Vee, Walmart and Sterling Main Street for the wonderful donations and support of items needed for our church’s annual Easter event held on March 30.

We are so thankful for their donations as well as church groups in making this year another awesome family event with 247 people in attendance. Guests heard the Good News of the Easter story, played carnival games, made a craft, ate treats, saw an amazing puppet show by the talented Jim Jayes and headed outside for a fun, snowy egg hunt!

Special thanks goes to Jim Jayes for his captivating puppet performance and the many church and community members for volunteering their time. We look forward to seeing you all next year!
