Suspect allegedly strangles woman, pours chocolate milk on her
An early morning argument allegedly led a 23-year-old man to strangle a woman with an extension cord and dump chocolate milk all over a home and his victim, according to police.
Austin Police officers arrested the suspect at about 12:30 a.m. Monday after the reported argument in the 1700 block of Fifth Avenue Northwest. The victim said a verbal argument happened in the garage and escalated with the suspect grabbed her wrist, pushed her down and wrapped a cord around her neck, according to the police report. The report added the suspect then went into the house, poured chocolate milk around and on the victim.
The suspect is held in the Mower County jail pending formal charges, which could include felony domestic assault by strangulation.
