Suspect charged for selling meth, fails to appear in court

A suspect arrested in a Nov. 30 drug bust in Austin has been charged with six more drug felonies and failed to appear in court on Thursday.

Jacqueline Couture Fisher, 21, of Austin, was charged Thursday with four counts of third-degree drug sale, second-degree drug sale of more than 3 grams of methamphetamines and first-degree drug sale for more than 10 grams of meth within a 90 day period.

Fisher was originally arrested on Nov. 30 when officers forced their way into a home in the 2100 block of 16th Street SE and reportedly found 0.7 grams of meth, numerous pipes, capsules, tubing, a digital scale, 10 cell phones and a box of the American Legion’s pull tabs. She pleaded not guilty to fifth-degree drug possession in that case.

According to the most recent court complaint, police investigated Fisher from Aug. 7 to Aug. 22, 2012, when a confidential informant bought varying amounts of meth from Fisher on six occasions for more than a total of $1,000.

Fisher has another hearing set for Monday.
