This week, the Village Cooperative of Austin is celebrating its 10th anniversary.

The Austin Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors begin’s Monday with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Events throughout the week include a brunch on Monday morning, an ice cream social on Wednesday, and a grand banquet to close out the week on Friday.

The Village Cooperative, designed for seniors 55 and older, is located behind the Walmart store, and is made up of 62 one and two bedroom units featuring several different floor plans.

The many amenities include an underground garage with a car wash bay, library, workshop and exercise room.

The Village Cooperative of Austin is managed by Real Estate Equities Development, a Twin Cities based company with Cooperatives throughout the Midwest.
