Austin goalie Allison Hoban came up big for the Packer girls hockey team as she stopped 48 shots to pick-up get a shutout in a 2-0 win at Winona (2-9 overall, 2-7 Big Nine) Thursday.

Chloe Summerfield put the Packers (5-7-1 overall, 2-6 Big Nine) up 1-0 in the second period and Lea Semones added a power play goal in the third period.

Austin had just 12 shots on goal, but it made them count in the win.

“Outstanding defensive game by the entire team,” Austin head coach Brett Vesel said. “Shots on goal were not indicative of the type of game it was.”
