Vision 2020 to offer up ‘Taste of the Future’

Ready for a little taste of what’s coming to Austin? Vision 2020 is.

Vision 2020 organizers will present their progress as part of its “Taste of the Future,” a two-hour presentation at the Austin Country Club next month.

“We want to keep the community updated on what’s going on,” said Laura Helle, incoming director of creative vision for Vision 2020. “It will be a reception, come and go-type event.”

Members from each of Vision 2020’s 10 committees will be on hand to update the community on the progress made toward Vision 2020 goals. In addition, local restaurants will provide hors d’oeuvers and drinks will be on hand.

The event takes place from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, and will cost $50 per person, including two drink tickets. For more information, contact laura@vision2020.com.
