Chamber to host annual golf outing
The Austin Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual All Member Invitational Golf Outing, or AMIGO Day, Monday, Sept. 10 at the Austin Country Club. Registration and lunch run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., immediately followed by a shotgun start on the golf course.
A happy hour and dinner will follow the game. To attend the dinner alone is a $25 donation per person; the whole event is $100 per golfer. There will be awards and prizes given out.
Space is limited, and the event is nearly booked full. Open spots will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Call 437-4561 to register.
