Leroy Allen Doe, 83

Leroy Allen Doe, age 83, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025, at his home. Leroy was born April 23, 1942, in Adrian, Minnesota, to Harold and Elsie (Wittrock) Doe. He graduated from Worthington High School in 1960 and went on to attend the Austin Vo-Tech for two years. Leroy worked as a machinist for many years at the City Treatment Plant and was also a school bus driver. On December 1, 1963, he was united in marriage to Donna Titus and together had three sons. They later divorced. On May 4, 1996, he married Janet Bumgarner at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Austin. Leroy was known to be very hands-on and loved building things. In his free time, he enjoyed riding motorcycles, traveling to Arizona in his motor home, and riding ATVs.

Survivors include his wife, Janet of Austin, Minnesota; sons, Todd (Heidi) Doe of Clearwater, Florida, Robert (Renee) Doe of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Jeffery (Nadene) Doe of Dayton, Minnesota; stepdaughter, Jenna Tapp of Fowler, Colorado; stepson, Jeffery (Lee Mamalis Hoch) Tapp of Green Valley, Arizona; grandchildren; step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Elsie Doe.

A funeral service for Leroy will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home in Austin. The visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Austin. Worlein-Hoff Funeral Homes of Austin are assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.worlein.com.
