In Your Community: Local artist takes part in Mantorville festival

: Tammy Schneider was one of 30 juried artists who took part in the Larger than Life Art Festival held in Mantorville City Park on June 28. The submitted artwork is enlarged and laminated while held in a steel easel for viewing. The artwork will be on display until Sept. 1. Each artist is sponsored by local organizations. Her picture is sponsored by the Lions. Tammy is a member of the Austin ArtWorks Center, Albert Lea Art Center, Mantorville Art Group, Waseca Art Center and James Krom’s Natural Images Gallery Rochester. The painting Red Halter was a grand champion at the 2024 Mower County Fair. Photo provided
