The play of the day on Wednesday for the Meadow Greens – Ramsey Ladies Golf Club was “3-Club Monte.” Before starting, players had to decide what three clubs they would be using in addition to their putter, and could only use those clubs for the entire round. Half of the player’s handicap was subtracted from each of the nine holes for an adjusted score.

On the front nine, winners were Barb James with a 36, Ann Christianson with a 37, and Sheila Cotter and Jan Waller with scores of 38 each. Winners on the back nine were Marilyn Ryks and Chris Swatfager with scores of 35, Rita Devereaux with a 36, and Pat Busker with a 37.

Chip-ins were made by Barb James on hole No. 4, Ardie Pepper on hole No. 11, Sheila Cotter on hole No. 13, and Marilyn Ryks on hole No. 14. The only birdie of the day was made by Marilyn Ryks on hole No. 14.
