Motorists on Interstate 90 westbound in Austin who are east of Sixth Street will be detoured from 7-11 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1 while construction crews make concrete pavement repairs near the Sixth Street exit, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Westbound I-90 traffic east of Sixth Street will be detoured off I-90 at Highway 218 south (Exit 180 B) on the east side of Austin and should take a left and travel south on Highway 218.

Then, motorists should take a right (west) on Mower County Road 28, turn right on Highway 105 north and go left (west) on Oakland Avenue where it will reconnect with I-90 on the west side of Austin at the Highway 105/Oakland Avenue bridge.
