A pair of area girls golfers were in the field on the first day of the Class A state golf meet at Pebble Creek in Becker Tuesday.
Hayfield junior Carly Bronson is tied for 15th place with a score of 78. GMLO sophomore Gabby Tangren was in 63rd place with a 105.
Dawson-Boyd’s Lindsey Lund was in first place overall with a score of 68.
Blooming Prairie junior Drew Reinke shot a 96 on the first day of the boys meet, and he is in 82nd place.
Traton Nelson of Ashby Brandon Evansville leads the field with a 72.
