Hayfield woman injured in motorcycle collision with a deer

A Hayfield woman was injured on Wednesday when the motorcycle she was a passenger on collided with a deer.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol a motorcycle driven by Darek Alan Davidson, 44, of Kasson, was traveling eastbound on Highway 14 when it struck the deer and crashed into the median at around 8:40 p.m..
Both he and 45-year-old Jamie Jo Fritz of Hayfield were transported to St. Mary’s Hospital Rochester with non-life threatening injuries.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office and Dodge Center Ambulance and Fire responded.
