Grand Meadow sophomore Gabby Tangren was not at the school send-off, but her teammates put her photo on display at Grand Meadow High School Thursday. Tangren will compete at the Class A state golf meet after taking 45th at last year’s state meet. The Class A girls golf meet will be held at Pebble Creek Golf Course in Becker on Tuesday and Wednesday. Play will begin at 7:30 a.m. on both days. Rocky Hulne/sports@austindailyherald.com
