Austin’s Thiravong is in 61st after first day of state meet

Austin sophomore Ailani Thiravong is in the middle of the pack after the first day of the Minnesota Class AAA golf meet in Bunker Hills in Coon Rapids Tuesday.
Thiravong shot an 89 on day one and she is in 61st place.
Bella Leonhart of Forest Lake leads the field with a 71.
The meet will wrap up on Wednesday.
