The 14UAA Austin All Stars have come away with championships in back-to-back weekends, taking first in their hometown tournament this past weekend following a title in Albert Lea on June 7-8. They opened up the Austin tournament with a 5-6 loss to 14U AA Hudson Raiders, but followed the loss with a 17-0 win over LeSuer-Henderson, 16-1 win over Watertown-Mayer Royals, 17-8 win over the Somerset Spartans, 3-2 win over the Quad Cities and a 12-5 win over the Mankato Royals. In doing so they have qualified for the MBT State Tournament July 11-13 in Eastview and the MSF State Tournament July 26-27. At the same time they have qualified for the Gopher State tournament in Rochester over those same dates.
