12U Red second at Rochester tourney

: The Austin Youth Softball 12U Red Team finished second out of 15 teams at the Rochester Summer Heat Tournament on Sunday, June 8. The team finished the tournament with a 4-1 record winning their first four games against Rochester 12R Elite 16-1, Red Wing 12C Red 10-5, La Crosse BGC 12U 5-2, Prescott 12B Gergen 6-3, before losing to Kasson-Mantorville 12B Gold 3-0 in the championship. The second-place finish also qualified the team for the Monsta National Tournament in Shoreview, Minnesota at the end of July. Photo provided
