Shoe Sensation hosted a grand opening celebration in Austin on May 16-18 to mark the official opening of its newly relocated store, and it was a celebration for the whole community.
Opening weekend festivities included a $1,000 donation to Paint the Town Pink, a community-led campaign that raises funds for cancer research at The Hormel Institute, and a $500 giveaway to one lucky winner.
The community was invited to help kick off the weekend in style, with exclusive promotions, mystery bonus cards, and a host of live activities, including a remote broadcast from KAUS-FM, food trucks, and of course, the $500 gift card drawing.
This relocation marks an exciting refresh for a popular Austin neighborhood shoe store.
“We’re thrilled to bring your favorite name brands into a new, modern space without losing the small-town customer service that makes Shoe Sensation such a special place to shop,” said CEO Dave Schoengart. “We love to celebrate our communities and make them the best they can be. Opening weekend is just a small thank you to the communities we serve, and the festivities wouldn’t be complete without a donation to a local charity. We’re honored to support Paint the Town Pink this weekend here in Austin.”
A ribbon cutting hosted by the Austin Area Chamber of Commerce formally marked the store’s relocation on Friday, May 16.
The public is invited to come check out Austin’s newly renovated Shoe Sensation.
