The Austin boys golf team advanced three individuals to the second day of the Section 1AAA meet in Lake City Tuesday.

Cale Tupy shot a 75 to advance, Carter Hovelsrud shot his first score under 80 at a high school event with a 79 to advance and Eli Kruger beat the cut by one stroke with an 83.

As a team, the Packers shot a 321, which was nine strokes from advancing to the second day of the meet.

The tournament will wrap up on Wednesday.
